Terms of Service
1. What Jobi is
Jobi is an AI-powered assistant that helps you with job applications: analysing job descriptions, tailoring CVs, drafting cover letters and answers, researching companies, tracking applications, and practising interviews. Jobi is a tool to assist you; you remain responsible for what you submit to employers.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate sign-in information and keep your account secure.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Jobi.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Jobi for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
- Submit content you do not have the right to use.
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its rate limits.
- Use Jobi to misrepresent your qualifications or identity to employers.
4. AI-generated content
Jobi uses AI models that can make mistakes. Content Jobi generates (cover letters, CV edits, analysis, answers) is a draft for you to review. You are responsible for checking it for accuracy and honesty before using it. Do not rely on Jobi as legal, financial, or career advice from a professional.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you provide. You grant Jobi permission to process it as described in the Privacy Policy solely to provide the service to you.
6. Plans, payment, and cancellation
Jobi offers a free plan and a paid plan (Jobi+). Jobi+ is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings or through Stripe; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current month, and you keep access until then.
Because Jobi+ is a digital service that starts immediately, by subscribing you ask us to begin providing it straight away and acknowledge that your statutory 14-day right to cancel ends once the service has been fully provided. This does not affect any refund we choose to give, or any statutory right you cannot waive. To ask about a refund, email support@jobi.life.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features. We aim to keep Jobi available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
8. Disclaimers, liability, and governing law
Jobi is provided "as is" and "as available", and we do not guarantee any particular result, including any job, interview, or offer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, opportunity, data, or the outcome of any application. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Jobi in the twelve months before the claim and £100.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes anything that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings where you live.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
